Concrete tiles

The UK’s most widely used tile, concrete is often the most economic way to finish a roof. Today’s concrete tile products are:
  • Available in a huge array of colours, profiles, textures and styles
  • Available as fibre-reinforced cement coated with plastics, enamels, or thin metals
  • Economical - their large size, up to 10 per square metre for interlocking tiles, makes them the cheapest form of tile roofing
  • Easy to fix
  • Durable and resistant to rot and insects
  • Long lasting
  • Low maintenance
  • Available with an acrylic coating enhancing colour, surface properties and which minimise the effects of harmful salts
  • A means of offering good fire protection. Concrete mixed tiles can mimic the appearance of wood shakes, while improving durability and generating fire protection
  • Able to replicate the look of clay or slate without the weight of the real material.
  • Guaranteed by most roof tile manufacturers for durability of at least 60 years
